chaos!

i have 82 days and yet i feel like i have no time to do anything! there's sooo much to do!  my school isn't being very cooperative in the whole "classes" situation.  i need to know what classes will transfer, what classes to take, information about financial aid, etc. and they're not being helpful at all.  it could be because i'm the first person from my school to ever participate in the program, so that's kinda cool!

amongst the many things i have to do, i need to work on a packing list for disney. i have far too much stuff to be taking down there.  i have time for that, though.

right now, i'm working on a bucket list.  i'll post it within the next month or so. people are still adding to it and i'm trying to make it as detailed as possible.

after 3 long weeks of waiting, i finally got an email at 9:47 this morning congratulating me on my acceptance :D
this means from may to january, i will be a disney merchandise cast member!! helloooo florida, hey disney!!

interview.

i applied/interviewed last season for spring 2011 advantage but got rejected. i think it’s because i wasn’t qualified…?  i’ve been hearing that experience doesn’t matter. oh well!  i was so anxious to apply this time because i thought for sure, if i apply early, i’ll have a way better chance.  i signed up for the email that is supposed to tell me when applications open up but i never got it!  i was actually in lake buena vista moving a friend who had gotten accepted into her apartment.  so i ended up applying on january 29th and had my interview on february 3rd.  

the interview went EXTREMELY well.  a lot better than the last…i just had a feeling.

so now it’s the waiting game! day 17 and i’m getting anxious!

phone interview tips:

remain calm! the interviewers are awesome! they’re sweet and have amazing personalities.

smile throughout the interview!  trust me, it will help tremendously with the nerves.

don’t worry! if you have to take a minute to process the question and give an answer, do so. 

ask questions! if you don’t hear something, ask questions. you don’t want to give the wrong answer!

i'm a little behind on this whole blog thing, i'm so sorry!  i did, however, create this blog on tumblr but i figured most people were using blogspot to do their blogs so i figured i would, too!


this blog is all about the disney college program, from the application, to the interview, and hopefully to actually getting accepted and working for disney!  it's a HUGE dream of mine and i'm ready for a new adventure.
